Surfin’ and goodbye USA

This is our last blog – boo 😦

We’ve all had truly the best time of our lives and will leave the pictures below tell our final chapter.

We also managed to find a few final names (we found Mali and Amelia after we’d written in the sand)

Aloha!

A whale of time

Our next adventure was on board a boat leaving Dana Point harbour in search of whales and dolphins. We were not disappointed…..

Our first spot was a blue whale (yes really!) about a mile and a half out. We saw it rise up from feeding and then dive again. The captain of the boat was able to predict twice the exact time it would rise again. We then were lucky enough to see another three blue whales. Here are a couple of pictures:

Just as we were about to return to the harbour:

We took the second photo in the boat’s underwater pod. There were about seven dolphins who followed us. They apparently really like children. It was awesome!
After the best time ever on the boat we spent the afternoon body boarding and playing on the beach. The waves were enormous! The second photo shows us just after a big wipe out.

Last stop before home

After an awesome time at Disneyland we travelled down the Pacific Coast Highway to Dana Point, near Laguna Beach, Orange County for our last stop. We hit the beach and enjoyed a dip in the Pacific Ocean which was just a little bit warmer than the Atlantic!

MIMI’S CAFE 🍭🍭🍭

I know basically EVERYTHING about my best friend Mila; however, I had no idea she owns a French cafe all over America!

Mila’s French so I get why it’s French and I get why she has one opposite Disney land (tonnes of people) but why America? Anyway, the BLUEBERRY muffins there are really good! πŸ˜„πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜€πŸ˜Šβ˜ΊοΈπŸ˜‰πŸ˜πŸ˜˜πŸ˜šπŸ˜—πŸ˜™πŸ˜œπŸ˜πŸ˜›πŸ˜³πŸ˜πŸ˜ŒπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜Ž

I ❀️ Disney

OMG DISNEY IS AWESOME!!!!🐭

Here are a few pics of our time at Disney Land California! The first one is us on the carousel. Ava, Ben and dad ended up going on it twice. I got off to help Ben, there was this massive man who watched me get off and say to Ben “Just coming Ben, I’ll get back on in a minute!” Then the podgy man got on my horse, as I came back he stayed on so I got on the back of Ben’s horse. The next one is us on a ride called splash mountain ( btw the guy in the back is random)! The third is Ben in a Tarzan play area! Next is us waiting to go into Disney land! The last one is mum and dad in the Disney store! HAHA!

Sun City

We had a great time in Universal Studios though Ben was a little unsure about the early morning breakfast….

It was probably the hottest day so far and the extravagant Simpsons refill cups Daddy bought ($50+) came in very handy though we had to do with Pringles for dinner.

No sign of a “Terence” but this is as good as we think we’ll get (sorry mam-gu):

BTW, the celeb was Michael Madsen whose classic films include Reservoir Dogs, Donnie Brasco and Free Willy.

Pacific Heights

Here we are on Malibu beach – a pit stop on our way to LA. We drove along the Pacific Coast road, finding Harry Potter’s wand en route and spotting dolphins. We drove past all the Hollywood stars’ mansions in Malibu and Pacific Palisades and through Topanga canyon. We eventually arrived at our hotel in Sherman Oaks, close to all the film studios and Daddy spotted our first celebrity sitting in our hotel lobby……

Happy Days

San Luis Obispo is a gorgeous town except for the one place we found – Bubblegum alley where everyone chews a piece of gum and sticks it on the wall

A more appetising adventure was going to our first ‘drive-in’ movie at the Sunset drive-in ( Mummy was so excited she bought the t-shirt) to see Mission Impossible- Rogue Nation which was thrilling
